All FitSauna saunas are shipped on one pallet by our network of LTL carriers. Your sauna will be palletized, wrapped and secured before pickup. Once your new sauna is picked up, a BOL (Bill of lading) will be generated. Shipping a pallet is much different than shipping smaller items by small trucks. A sauna can be traced/tracked but the best indication of it arriving to your home is when the local hub receives your sauna and contacts you.

Once your sauna gets to your local distribution hub a dispatcher will contact you at the phone number you provided. The dispatcher will not release your sauna unless they speak with you and you have verified an appointment window.

TIP: When you speak with the dispatcher they will give you a fairly large window for delivery. Request that the driver calls you 30 minutes prior to delivery to save yourself sitting around time. This is also the time to give the dispatcher any special requirements for delivery like your gate code.

NOTE: Your sauna will be delivered by a semi-trailer. If your home can not be accessed by a large semi, you will need to let the dispatcher know. Commonly, this would be a very narrow drive or high grade entrance. If this is the case, a smaller truck will be dispatched and could add 1-2 business days to your delivery.

When your sauna arrives at your home, the delivery driver will unload your sauna. FitSauna pays for a lift gate (what takes the sauna off the truck). Generally speaking, the driver will use his pallet jack to delivery to your garage if you ask. If you have a long driveway, stairs or any other obstacle, the driver is only paid for curbside delivery.

You need to inspect your sauna before you sign anything with the driver. And if minor damage (damaged boxes do not mean the sauna inside is damaged) be sure to make a notation on the Delivery Notice.

Your FitSauna is shipped via LTL freight on a tractor trailer. Once you receive your BOL (bill of lading) this means your shipment was booked and we are awaiting for the shipping carrier to pick up your shipment. During peak seasons, once a BOL is created it could take 2-3 days before the carrier picks up your shipment. Once the carrier picks up your shipment the load is logged in and signed for. Unfortunately, LTL carriers are behind in technology so the only way for us to trace your sauna is by calling the carrier directly. Once the shipment is picked up, we follow transit time protocols before we reach out to the carrier as we assume it’s in transit.

Once your shipment reaches your local distribution hub, a dispatcher will call you at the number you provided us. It’s extremely important to call them back if you miss their call as they will not deliver your sauna without speaking with you first and scheduling a date and time. This is a good time to request that the delivery driver contact you 30 minutes prior to arrival so you don’t have to wait around. It’s also a good time to let them know of any unique delivery requirements; narrow driveway, high grade driveway, apartment complex, condo complex, gate code etc.

During fall, winter and spring months, there can be delays due to weather. Precipitation may not occur in your home state but it may in the route your shipment has to take to deliver it to you. If there’s a delay the carrier will generally reach out to you by phone.

TIP: To get an approximate transit time, take the date of your BOL and add 2 days for pickup and then transit time, this should give you an approximate delivery date.

Most FitSauna infrared saunas require 20 amp plugs. Its easy to install the wall mounts if you are not currently equipped with them.
You can get them for $5- $10 at Home Depot.

Many FitSauna saunas come with a WiFit TV with a on/off switch or controller that can turn it on or off.

The TV has an Android operating system. You can connect it to the Internet very much like you do with your mobile phone. Once connected you will see the Chrome browser icon. As you can image, this opens your TV inside the sauna to a world of options including our own streaming training videos.

FitSauna ships all saunas via LTL freight through our network of carriers. Once your new sauna leaves our facility the transit times are between 1 and 10 days depending on your delivery address.

NOTE: LTL shipments use large semi-trailers. Terrain, accessibility and weather can play a role in delivery times, especially in the fall, winter and spring months.

Assembly of your FitSauna is quick and easy. It usually takes two people about 1/2 an hour to assemble the sauna. No special tools are required for the overall assembly except a screw driver for the door handle and panel assembly. We’ve pre-wired your new sauna so it connects together with ease.

FitSauna infrared saunas take very little power. We based our calculations on the average cost per kWh in the USA. Some states, like California, may cost more. These calculations were running each model for 1 hour per day, 365 days per year.
